Made in Whitby Events

Each year Made In Whitby hosts two main festivals in the grounds of Whitby Brewery, with the beautiful backdrop of the famous Whitby Abbey.

The Summer festival kicks off the sunny season at the beginning of July, bringing producers, makers and performers together for a two-day event. You can experience live performance and demonstration, dance to music, and taste the local delicacies all day long whilst learning about Whitby’s incredible history.

Supported by local music acts such as Sunbeam and Skandals, the Summer festival takes place in early July. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the beautiful location and some delicious food & drink whilst browsing our wonderful stalls.

The Christmas festival takes place in mid December and will take you back in time to a Dickensian Street market, complete with smoked kippers and tales of old! You can explore local products just in time for filling those stockings, and warm by the firepits in the early evening singing along to some carols. Businesses can enjoy collaborating on seasonal products, enhancing that unique supportive spirit just in time for the festive break.
